Big news for anyone coming to and from 544 Boat and RV Storage! Starting today, August 1st, TxDot is kicking off a significant road reconstruction project on E 544. This means they'll be shifting traffic to the opposite side of the road, which will temporarily alter our gate entrance's usual traffic pattern.
We know any road work can be a bit of a headache, but we want to assure you that we've been working closely with the construction manager to minimize disruption and ensure your continued, secure access to your valuable equipment.
Here's a Quick Breakdown of What to Expect:
Your Security Remains Unaffected: This is paramount! Our security measures are still fully active, and your access to your stored boat or RV remains guaranteed.
Temporary Gate Access: While our current gate entrance remains as it is for now, TxDot will soon begin work on a temporary driveway. Over the next couple of weeks, you'll see them moving the fence line and pouring this temporary access.
A New Approach (Temporarily!): Once that temporary drive is complete, you'll be accessing our gate via a diagonal approach until the full E 544 reconstruction is finished.
